Influence

We are dedicated to championing Coleraine Town by actively representing our member organisations.

Our mission is to lobby on issues that affect the BID area and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure the continued development of a clean, safe, and vibrant town.

Here’s how we aim to influence positive changes in our community:

Card Processing

We understand the importance of efficient payment processing for our businesses. By negotiating competitive rates for card processing payments, we aim to reduce transaction fees and improve service reliability. This collective approach helps businesses save on operational costs and enhances their cash flow management.

Town Masterplanning

Strategic planning is crucial for Coleraine's sustainable development. The BID collaborates with local authorities and stakeholders to create a comprehensive Town Master Plan. This plan addresses future growth, infrastructure development, and land use, ensuring Coleraine remains a vibrant and economically viable town.

Town Safety with Police Project

A safe town is essential for both businesses and visitors. BID collaborates with local police to implement safety initiatives, including:

  • Increased Patrols: Ensuring a visible police presence in key areas.
  • Community Safety Programs: Engaging with businesses and residents to promote safety awareness and crime prevention.

Clean Team

Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment is a priority. Our Clean Team initiative focuses on:

  • Cleaning Services: Regular litter picking, street sweeping, and waste removal.
  • Graffiti Removal: Prompt action to remove graffiti and maintain visual appeal.
  • Seasonal Clean-ups: Intensive cleaning efforts during peak seasons to ensure the town remains attractive to visitors.

By investing in these initiatives, Coleraine BID will strive to ensure that our town reaches its full potential as a commercial hub and a premier destination in the Causeway Coast and Glens.

We will keep our members fully informed and represent their commercial interests in all discussions with statutory bodies, maintaining a “town centre first” ethos.

Together, we can make Coleraine a more attractive place to live, work, and visit.
